Succot

A few days after the Yamim Nora'iim, the holiday of Succot begins. The holiday consists of seven days followed by two additional days called Shemini Azeret and Simhat Torah (this applies to outside of Israel). The term Succot is derived from the word Succah which is the temporary home that we build and reside in during the holiday. There is special Torah reading for each day on Succot which you can listen to below. Additionally, there are a lot of beautiful pizmonim that we sing on the holiday especially on Simhat Torah, which is the day we celebrate the annual conclusion of the Torah readings.
